Free trade explored

John Stossel has a good piece featured on creators.com discussing free trade with Tom Palmer. They reiterate that trade benefits everyone involved:

“Trade is win-win. Two people trade only because each values what he gets more than what he gives up. That's why in a store both customer and clerk say, ‘Thank you.’”

Furthermore, Palmer discuses the important role trade plays in national security, citing Frederic Baistat’s famous quote “When goods don't cross borders, soldiers will.”

The full article is here, and Stossel also featured the topic on his show which aired yesterday on Fox business.
